About Us

As more and more people become mindful of their health and the food they consume, the demand for locally sourced and ethically raised meats has been growing. That's where Little Honey Livestock comes in - two sisters, Bridget Little and Cortney Honey, who are working together to provide "Farm Fresh, Pasture Raised" animals to clients, family, and friends. We raise pasture raised beef, chicken as well as pasture raised pork.

We each operate our own farms with our families. Between the farms, all of the meat is raised in the most natural settings possible.

On the farm, there is currently a pretty wide variety of beef cattle breeds. Currently there is a variety of commercial cattle coming in all shapes and colors. Over the years, we have mixed in breeds such as Simmental, red and black Angus, Limousine, and Charolais. More recently, adding purebred Shorthorns.

What sets Little Honey Livestock apart from other meat suppliers is the commitment to ethical practices. Taking pride in the way the animals are raised out on pastures and finished with grasses and a variety of different hay products instead of the more traditional grain feeding regimes.

The animals are treated humanely, and we select, handle, and transport all of our own animals to ensure diligent care is taken to the very end. While the end-of-life process is a tough part of the business, Bridget and Cortney are passionate about making a difference in each animal's life. We believe that the way we raise our animals not only produces better quality meat but also contributes to a healthier environment.

As more people become mindful of their health and food choices, it's important to support local businesses that provide sustainable and ethical products. By supporting Little Honey Livestock, you're not only getting delicious meat but also contributing to a healthier environment and a more sustainable future.
